Pentecost – The Holy Spirit comes – today. He wants to come to us but he needs our availability. Let us open the door of our life. Let us allow Him to «disturb» us and our life becomes rich, lively, inspired.

Israel is conducting air strikes in Syria, two abducted Syrian bishops, episodes of violence in Pakistan … Every day the newspaper informs us about the atrocities of people. Peace is fragile, but peace is possible for those who believe that in every person’s heart a spark of reason and wisdom can be ignited.
Believe that peace is possible and that one day it will illuminate the world, must not remain an empty dream, but a deep conviction.

Let us pray, let us support where it is possible for us! Let us be peacemakers there where we are.

Roger loves to paint

Six young people from Berlin on their way to Sainte Mere Eglise in Normandy – 1339 km. Their goal: the Maison de la Paix, their project: papering and painting the corridor and the starecase.
And, of course, the young people wanted to eat like one eats in France.

As in 2012, young people from the Don Bosco center in Berlin-Marzahn help to beautify a place where about 70 years ago so much bad was done by the Germans. Peace work in a tangible sense.
The small group was accompanied by Sr. Raphaela Benkhoff, one of the nuns of St. Mary Magdalen Postel of the Don Bosco Center, and Marcel Jaeckel, one of the painters employed there.
